This work refers to Mc Luhmans media theory of “hot” and “cool” media. Hot media contains a lot of information which is signified by itself. Cool media, however, is low on information. Therefore, the recipient needs to complement this fragmented information to get to a further understanding. This video is classified between these two definitions. On the one hand, every single picture in this video shows precisely the whole scene. Therefore, there is no room for interpretation. On the other hand however, the video contains a distension of time as well as a fragmented visual flow which leads to an open interpretation.
